Notes
This is a new location replacing the old (120 years old!) YMCA facility at 83 Pleasant Street. In addition to the lap pool, there is also a 20y, warm water therapy pool that features a “zero-entry” ramp and a large water fountain for the kids.A co-ed whirlpool is also available.
Facility Reviews
It’s new, clean, and convenient to where I live. The pool is open seven days a week (M-F from 5:30 am to 9:00 PM, Sat until 7:30 PM and Sunday 8 am-5 pm; see website for details). Water is about 84º most of the time and they separate lanes by speed(slow, medium or fast). Swim lessons are available (higher prices for non-members). Aqua Aerobics classes are held weekday mornings and evenings in the therapy pool; and there are swim times for kids and families in both pools.
