Notes
The Sportsplex also has a 14m x 7m, 98ºF. pool with seats on two slides and a wheelchair ramp. The main pool has a wheelchair lift. The diving pool has an over-water rock wall, a water slide, and a wheelchair lift.
Lanes are set up for lap swimming Monday - Friday 11:15 A.M. - 1 P.M., and Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday from 8:45 to 10:00 P.M.
Facility Reviews
The hours for lane swimming are insufficient during the week and non-existent on weekends. As this is the only pool around it should be made more available. Further, there appears to be no enforcement of common courtesy or lane etiquette; lifeguards sit by and watch or chat with friends while recreational swimmers disrupt swimmers in the lanes. I’ve also noticed that the change-rooms are not very clean.
This pool is dated and the change rooms are terrible. There is no room for families and the floors are often dirty! I find the staff kind, however I prefer to pay the extra money to go to the pool in Cochrane! [May, 2013]
