Data source: The information for this listing was graciously provided by the Webmaster of the Fukuoka City Municipal Pool Guide Web site - now gone.
(The "Data source" may have contributed the initial, basic information used to create this listing but, in most cases, that information will have been added to over time by a number of other sources - most often, other swimmers. We can't acknowledge the source of each bit of information, but we are grateful to all contributors.)

Swimmers who understand the Japanese language will want to check out the Sportsmax Web site, Taroh Fujiki's Swim-Kingdom or http:// member.nifty.ne.jp/sakichi/pools.html. All three have extensive listings of swimming pools in Japan - but are entirely in Japanese.

If you don't understand Japanese, use the AltaVista Babel Fish translation Web site. Just copy the URL of the Japanese language Web page into the box with "http", indicate the source language and the language you want to see the page in, and a machine translated version of the page will come up. The translations aren't perfect, but they're better than nothing (most of the time).
