NOTE: A site visitor sent us a note saying that when he visited the pool in November 2006, the pool was closed, had been drained, and appeared to be in a bad state of repair. He didn't know whether the situation was permanent or seasonal, but clearly a telephone call in advance may save wasted time.

When I arrived, a training session had just finished, but the man who ran the pool would not let me swim as the pool was closed to the public by 'the government'. He was very unhelpful and dismissive and made me feel as if I were expecting too much to be allowed to swim there. It is a very good pool but I wouldn't bother going. The manager was extremely rude and uncooperative, wouldn't let me swim or give me any information on how to join! Pity as this is great open air pool next to the beach!
