Notes: Avignon also has an outdoor swimming complex called la Piscine Olympique des Arenes or Piscine Barthelasse in the Quartier Bagatelle on the Ile de la Barthelasse, telephone 90-82-54-25.  The complex has a 50m, 10 lane pool, a 15m x ~15m diving well with 1m and 3m boards, and a 5m platform, and a ~30m x ~20m wading pool. All are unheated and open May 15 - September 1 from 10:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M., seven days a week.

Reviews: The pool is conveniently located within the old city-walls and therefore particularly interesting for tourists. A € 2,00 refundable locker deposit is required.
