A “Save our Pool” group is trying to keep the facility and was able to postpone its scheduled December, 2008, closing until August, 2009. It is a very nice facility and only one other than Bainbridge Island in North Kitsap County.It's new lap swim hours are M - F 6 AM to 2:30 PM (usually at least 4 lap swim lanes) and on Saturdays from 8:30 to 9:30 AM.
