Facility Reviews
The water is usually warm, the changing rooms have been upgraded and are clean; and it's not too busy in mornings (9 – 10 AM) although, if a school is in, swimmers get corralled into just 3 lanes. And a 33m pool is better than 25m for me.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the pool is a spacious 33 meters, with diving boards a different levels, most of which I'd get dizzy even looking at. The advertising poster didn't lie, the place IS welcoming and friendly.
Terrible from start to finish! The receptionist couldn't say please or thank you. The changing rooms were filthy and smelly. The poolside guards were unmotivated and unhelpful, certainly not child (or adult) friendly. The pool water was dirty with sticking plasters and other unidentifiable objects on the bottom. I strongly advise travelling to Banbridge or Lisburn, instead, especially with children. [June, 2013]
I've always been welcomed warmly and I've always found the pool and changing rooms to be clean. In fact, the changing area is cleaned regularly and thoroughly. Early morning lanes are great for those who want to swim lengths. [July, 2014]
