Facility Notes
Advice from a site visitor: Remove shoes before entering locker room and towel-off thoroughly before re-entering (take your towel with you to poolside) - dripping water in the locker room is very uncool in Japan. Bring your own towel or buy a quick-drytowel at the entrance for ¥10,000. Lockers are quite large - large enough for a briefcase and computer. The card you buy from the machine for admission may be inserted in a slot inside the locker that allows you to remove the key.
Facility Reviews
This is my favorite pool in Tokyo. Three lanes are reserved for expert swimmers. Generally there is decent lane etiquette. Like most pools in Japan, a cap is required, watches and excessive tattoos are prohibited, etc. Buy a ¥500 ticket from vendingmachine on level B2 and use this for locker and to exit. The pool is cleared for 5 minutes, once an hour, for the lifeguard to make sure nobody sunk to the bottom! The water is too warm for me, but overall great public swim and not too crowded.
