Facility Notes
To purchase a membership, you need copy of your passport, two passport photos, and a medical certificate. The form cost 150 baht (USD 4.79); an annual membership is 40 baht (USD 1.27); and then it's 15 baht (USD 0.48) per entry. [Prices and currency conversion rates are as of February, 11, 2019.]
The required medical certificate can be obtained at almost any clinic and hospital. If you don't speak Thai, there will almost certainly be someone there who speaks English and can do the necessary interpretation. There is a NITIPON beauty salon that is convenient at 597/4 Sukhumvit Road and it costs only 150 baht. The doctor on staff is not present for all store hours, so you may need to call or visit to find out when the doctor will be there. The telephone number is (02) 662 2639. [October, 2015]
Facility Reviews
Good for laps swimming - except when school is out.
This pool is generally deserted. It is occasionally patronized by schools but that doesn't interfere with lap swimming, as they tend to use a smaller, 10m x 10m, 1m depth, kids' pool.
This is a great 25m pool for my daily 1,640m swim. When I went for the medical certificate, the guy there asked me if I had any itching, I said no, and he issued me the form immediately.

This pool is as currently described above, except that it appears to be better maintained and cleaner than I expected. It has a very small locker room with extremely dented and rusty lockers, half of which cannot be used--so people here would also want to leave their things beside the pool. When I was there, there was only one person in the pool, a lap swimmer who appeared to be very content with the situation.

I went to register today. The conditions have not changed. They asked for an additional 10 THB for laminating the card. I had a 30 minute swim, it was 3:00 PM and there were only four people in the pool. Great deal.
