Important Notice Please Read - CLICK HERE

Swimmers Guide is not connected with any of the more than 20,000+ facilities listed on this site in any way. We cannot tell you the pools’ opening and closing times; we cannot tell you about the availability and cost of swimming lessons; we cannot help you find your children’s lost goggles or bathing suits.

We can and do try to give you reliable information about the pools, their locations, their access policies, and their single-visit or casual swimming prices. Where possible, we include email addresses and hypertext links to the pools’ own official websites, and links to the websites of the clubs and teams that swim there. Look to those resources within each listing for more detailed information.

The data in each listing is under continual review and is revised whenever the site’s editors become aware of a change but, with more than 20,000 listings, a complete, periodic review of every listing takes about three years to complete; in many places, prices will change two or three times before we have a chance to check the pool’s official website again.

For that reason, we ask for your help: If any of the information in the listing is incorrect, out of date, or could be improved, please tell us. There is an "Edit" button on just about every line of every listing, click on the edit button to tell us what needs to be changed. Please consider checking the listings of the pools you regularly use at home or when traveling, as your knowledge may be helpful to someone else who is unfamiliar with your area and visiting for the first time.

To our English users: For reasons described in the FAQ, county names shown the listings in England are the cities' and towns' historic counties, not necessarily the counties they are assigned to now.

Facility Reviews

There are always too many people inside. They should limit number of entrants.
I visited around 5 PM on a Saturday in late September. Upon check-in, I was given an RFID bracelet that I scanned to get in and that gave me access to a locker. You are not permitted to wear your shoes in the locker room area, so either bring a two grosze coin (PLN 0.02) to store them in a locker in the reception area or leave them under a bench or in your bag before scanning in. I asked whether I could pay for two 70-minute slots, and was told no. If I exceeded the allotment, I would be charged 16 groszy (PLN 0.16) per minute.

I was the only swimmer in the pool. By the time I left, a few others had arrived, but I had a lane to myself the entire time. The facility is well lit and very clean, and the sunlight streams in through the large wall of windows. I especially enjoyed the views of the mountains as I swam.
