Facility Notes
There is also a 50m x 21m, 8 lane, outdoor, seasonal pool at this location.
The facility is owned by the City of Verona and managed by an outfit called Forus IT. Forus apparently operates several swimming pools but has only one Facebook page that covers all of them. You can get the latest information about this facility by doing a search on the word "Santini" within the Facebook site.
Facility Reviews
We swam at this club in June 2010 - absolutely great! Wonderful response every time that I emailed or called for info. The staff is very friendly. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
This is a great facility. It's an easy 30-minute walk from Centro, and has easy parking. The attendants are very friendly and spoke English fluently. Very nice pool with the water temperature just right for laps and lanes marked for slower (lento) and faster (veloce) swimmers. I had a lane to myself most of the time (late morning on a Friday). I was joined by another swimmer after 25 laps or so and learned that the custom here is to circle swim even when only two swimmers shares a lane. The locker rooms were typical of piscine comunali in Italy: simple, functional, all the basics. Showers are free, but the hair drier requires a ticket. Bring flip flops, soap/shampoo, and your own towel.
