Important Notice Please Read - CLICK HERE

Swimmers Guide is not connected with any of the more than 20,000+ facilities listed on this site in any way. We cannot tell you the pools’ opening and closing times; we cannot tell you about the availability and cost of swimming lessons; we cannot help you find your children’s lost goggles or bathing suits.

We can and do try to give you reliable information about the pools, their locations, their access policies, and their single-visit or casual swimming prices. Where possible, we include email addresses and hypertext links to the pools’ own official websites, and links to the websites of the clubs and teams that swim there. Look to those resources within each listing for more detailed information.

The data in each listing is under continual review and is revised whenever the site’s editors become aware of a change but, with more than 20,000 listings, a complete, periodic review of every listing takes about three years to complete; in many places, prices will change two or three times before we have a chance to check the pool’s official website again.

For that reason, we ask for your help: If any of the information in the listing is incorrect, out of date, or could be improved, please tell us. There is an "Edit" button on just about every line of every listing, click on the edit button to tell us what needs to be changed. Please consider checking the listings of the pools you regularly use at home or when traveling, as your knowledge may be helpful to someone else who is unfamiliar with your area and visiting for the first time.

To our English users: For reasons described in the FAQ, county names shown the listings in England are the cities' and towns' historic counties, not necessarily the counties they are assigned to now.

Facility Notes

In September, 2015, we received a note indicating that the pool's hours are now 7 AM to 8 PM.

Facility Reviews

The pool hours are 8 AM to 8 PM, seven days a week. It's nice and quiet, but I don't know what it is like in the high season. There are changing facilities and hot showers for non-guests, which may be welcome in the "cool" season - roughly November to March.
As with most pools in Thailand, there is no roof, so the water can get quite warm in the hot season. Most Thais don't like to get much sun so, if one has no problem swimming in the middle of the day s/he will have this pool and most others in Thailand all to him/herself. [May, 2013]
Great location and pool, especially if you want to avoid the busy city of Chiang Mai. I've been here twice and hardly anyone was in the water either time. It's easy to get to from the city; rent a bike or motorbike. Tip: Take the road along the river, using Google Maps, instead of taking the main road. It's much nicer and just as quick. As with most resorts and hotels in Asia, they don't ask for an entrance fee, just jump in and enjoy. The water is on the cool side: about 21ºC (70ºF). [January, 2014]
