Facility Reviews
There are two public pools open during the school year in Arles, most swimmers will probably prefer the Piscine Guy Berthier over this one.
As of May, 2018, this pool is open only three times a week: Tuesday from 6 to 8:30 PM; Wednesday from 11 AM to 8 PM; and Friday from 6 to 8:30 PM. The website was last updated in mid-2017, and you cannot believe much you read there.
The facility is in poor repair, but it is not dangerous, as far as I can tell. The plastic roof has amazing huge blossoms of mold on it, more visible from without than from within. Lots of plastic parts in the dressing rooms are falling apart.
There are backstroke flags on one end only. The ceiling has a spoke and hub arrangement, so those who swim on their backs should identify the colored ropes that run through the air above each lane. The water was clean at about 8/10.
Lockers require a €1 deposit.
