Facility Notes
Pool 1 is in the "Splashtopia" section of the resort, whose main appeal appears to be to children. The walls at both ends of the lanes are curved. When we attempted to measure the length of the pool in the laned section using the Google Distance Measurement Tool, we came up with 78-feet or 26-yards; this exceeds our expected margin of error and leads us to believe that the pool is somewhat longer than 25-yards.
Pool 2 is the adult-only "Azure" pool. We used Google to measure this pool, as well, and our measurement here came up somewhat longer than we expected, at 77-feet, also greater than the usual margin of error. In the area we measured, the facing walls were straight (uncurved); one was at a 90º angle to the course of travel, the other very slightly off. As noted in the Review, below, this would be the preferred pool for a workout, although it appears that the two stripes referred to in the listing may have been removed or painted over since the reviewer's visit.
Facility Reviews
If you are staying at this resort and, want to get in a good swim, the adult pool works very well! Although it is free-formed, they have striped two lanes and placed at the flattest sections of the pool. The only drawback is, the pool doesn’t open until 9 AM, so early morning swim is not possible. But, get there at 9 AM and you will have the pool to yourself.
