Facility Reviews
This is an outstanding new, clean, and friendly facility with a 50 meter pool with lanes marked off by speed ('speeding' swimming of 'long' swimming), as well as a shallower, warmer, 25 meter pool. The price for entry is 110 Taiwanese dollars; for a deposit of another 100 dollars one can get a locker key (although coin lockers are available). Seniors swim free from 8 AM, so getting there earlier will mean missing the seniors, but that would be shame, since they were friendly, chatty, curious, and welcoming. Easy to get a taxi away from this facility, but it's only a 10 minute walk to metro. Highly recommended.

A very good public pool with clean water and not crowded in the morning session. The facility is good; you can rent a lock from reception.

The pool is open from 6 to 10 AM and 10:30 AM to 10 PM. Admission is TW$ 110, a locker TW$ 10. It's clean, nice, and friendly. Swimmers must wear a swim cap! The water is very clear and about 27°C. I went on a Tuesday afternoon in November from 3 to 4 PM. Six of the eight 50m lanes were open for lap swimming, one dedicated for "fast" swimmers; I shared that lane with for or five other swimmers. I used the pool again on Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 6:45 to 8 AM and shared the "fast" lane with three or four other swimmers. After 7:30 people start to leave: from 8 to 10 AM, admission is free for senior citizens and the pool gets crowded with breaststrokers.

This is an awesome pool! I swam at 6 AM on a Saturday and there were 15 people in the pool with me. I shared my lane with three other people without any issues. The pool is marked with the speed or purpose of each lane (I recommend starting in the fast lane and then moving out if you think people are too fast there).
I was told by another swimmer in line that the middle lane was for fast swimmers. I swim 1:50/2:00 per 100 yds and I used the middle lane with another swimmer who was faster but not that much faster than me. If people are too fast for you, move over to the adjacent lanes. Some lanes are for people who want to walk, so avoid those lanes.
To get in, walk to the 1st floor reception and give them TWD 110. The change rooms and lockers are to the right, down the stairs. Use the QR code printout to get through the gate. Place your shoes on the wall rack and proceed to the lockers. Using coins, you can get a backpack-sized locker for TWD 20 (exact change only) and TWD 30 for a larger locker. To get a locker deposit the coins under the main screen, a new page appears with two fields, one for your phone number and another for a six-digit code. A door pops open, place your items inside and then close door. To retrieve your items, click on the right button on the screen and then re-enter your phone number and code. If there is a problem, the person behind the counter by the QR code gate can help you (although they don't speak any English). Change and shower before getting to the pool.
