Facility Notes
The facility opened in May, 2014.
When the 50m pool is set up for long course swimming, the depth is usually set at 2m, throughout; when set up for short course swimming, the most northerly part of the pool is set to a depth of 1.1m. The pools' schedules can be found on the Aquatics Timetable page of the facility's website.
Facility Reviews
A really nice facility and very modern. I only used the 50m pool, which was clean and cool, but not too cool.

[June, 2014]
When I swam on a mid-week mid-afternoon, the 50m pool was divided into two sections: one-half had six lanes across the pool and some recreational space; the other half was unused - but the user numbers were not high enough to make this unreasonable. The water was at a pleasantly cool temperature, ideal for swimming lengths.
Changing is in a mixed "village" facility with lockers that take a returnable £1 coin. No soap is provided in the showers. The facility is shared with the University; the sauna and steam room facilities are reserved for member only. The building is clearly architect-designed and a step up from the norm of local authority pools.
