Facility Notes
This pool, which opened in 2013, replaced an older, 50m, 6 lane pool at the same location.
We can't say for sure, but we'd bet that the Team Burbank may have had some influence in getting the old pool replaced and made year-round. Our hats are off to them!
Facility Reviews
This is a nice, deep pool, with one shallow end and then a great swim to the other side. Eight lanes, teams usually have four in the morning. There is a kids' pool with a water slide, as well.
The showers and lockers are clean, but the lockers are small, ? of full size, and require a quarter. Strangely, the showers are set at about 5' 10" so, if you're over six feet, you need to bend down to wash. Oh well, nothing is perfect! The bathroom was not very clean but no worse than other LA public pools. It's a good option if The Plunge is closed and you're on the east side.

For anyone with a strong dolphin kick (backstroke or free/butterfly) watch-out for the 4-foot depth lanes, they're too shallow for a deep kick without hitting the pool bottom. Beyond the pool depth, this is a nice facility.
Because of the Corona virus pandemic, there's a limit of two swimmers per lane and, if you both want to stop on the wall, it must be at opposite walls.

Although the locker rooms never really recovered after the shutdown, and the showers are usually just lukewarm, the rest of the facility is very nice. The staff are very professional and friendly; other pools should learn from this place.
