Facility Reviews
The pool is in the Thai Naval Hospital complex but is open to the public and is located at the back of the hospital site, away from the main entrance on Somdet Phra Chao Tak Sin Road. The hospital is sometimes called "Somdej Pra Pinklao", depending on how the transliteration is made from Thai.
The pool stays warm all day but is not heated. It is kept clean and is open every day from 5:30 to 11:30 AM and from 2 to 8 PM. Sometimes as much as a third of the pool is cordoned off for training school children. The last hour and a half in the evening is least packed and is the best time for lane swimmers. The pool is lit after sunset. The admission fee is for unlimited time.
