Important Notice Please Read - CLICK HERE

Swimmers Guide is not connected with any of the more than 20,000+ facilities listed on this site in any way. We cannot tell you the pools’ opening and closing times; we cannot tell you about the availability and cost of swimming lessons; we cannot help you find your children’s lost goggles or bathing suits.

We can and do try to give you reliable information about the pools, their locations, their access policies, and their single-visit or casual swimming prices. Where possible, we include email addresses and hypertext links to the pools’ own official websites, and links to the websites of the clubs and teams that swim there. Look to those resources within each listing for more detailed information.

The data in each listing is under continual review and is revised whenever the site’s editors become aware of a change but, with more than 20,000 listings, a complete, periodic review of every listing takes about three years to complete; in many places, prices will change two or three times before we have a chance to check the pool’s official website again.

For that reason, we ask for your help: If any of the information in the listing is incorrect, out of date, or could be improved, please tell us. There is an "Edit" button on just about every line of every listing, click on the edit button to tell us what needs to be changed. Please consider checking the listings of the pools you regularly use at home or when traveling, as your knowledge may be helpful to someone else who is unfamiliar with your area and visiting for the first time.

To our English users: For reasons described in the FAQ, county names shown the listings in England are the cities' and towns' historic counties, not necessarily the counties they are assigned to now.

Facility Notes

This facility was the site of the aquatic events for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Pool 3, the utility pool, is not usually open to the public.
In addition to the pools listed, there is also a leisure pool for children that is more for entertainment than "serious" swimming; it has spas, a rapid river ride, spray jets, spurting "volcanoes", a water slide and bubble beach.
There is also a shop just inside the entrance that has gear if you've forgotten to bring yours.

Facility Reviews

Rating: 9 on a scale of 10. Rolls-Royce swimming. Great range of choice and options. Perfect for laps.
Fabulous - if this isn't a 10, nothing else deserves to be!
Skip this pool! The facility is filthy. The toilets at the nearby train station are cleaner than those here. There is no pool etiquette - markers identifying slow, medium, and fast lanes are completely ignored and not enforced at all. The staff, however, are extremely friendly and helpful as are most people in all of Australia.
