Facility Notes
NOTE: As recently as March, 2023, the McCoy Natatorium was available for drop-in swimming. In May, 2023, we were informed that affiliation with the university or sponsorship by an affiliate is now required.
There is also a 25y, 4 lane, 3½f depth, indoor, heated, 84° pool in the White Building near the HUB, which is reserved for students, and a 50m x 25y, 8 lane, outdoor, heated, 84°, seasonal pool, reserved for lap swimming.
Facility Reviews
A well maintained older facility. All deep in the 25 yard pool. Good lane lines, swim gear available to lap swimmers and visiting Masters swimmers.
The outdoor pool includes a diving tank. The water temp was 82º. It was not crowded when I was there. There was no clock in the outdoor pool. I would definitely swim there again.
This is an older (1950s?) facility that is showing its age but is perfectly fine. The locker rooms are clean and well maintained. I've gone several times and never had to share a lane. Its main problem is that the hours are very restrictive and seem to change constantly; check the website ("website", above) for the current pool schedule and be aware that it pretty much shuts down when the university is not in session.
