Facility Notes
There are two locker rooms; to get to the one for the 50m pool, under the bleachers, take a U-turn to the left, right after entering the gates; it can be confusing.
Upstairs, a sauna and a spa are available for an extra charge.
In all, 86 world records have been set in this pool.
The pool redevelopment project began in 2021; it includes upgrading the existing pools and adding a children's water play area and a warm water pool for gentle exercise. The existing pools' Art Deco features will be retained.
Facility Reviews
Awesome pool, an Aussi icon.
As you swim from the deep end to the shallow, you swim toward the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The 25m pool is an infinity pool with glass walls overlooking the bridge and city - the view is spectacular.
One of the world's great swimming pools - and a wonderful place to swim.
Crowded most of the time – at peak times up to 10 people per lane, many not following common sense or pool etiquette. Shower tokens work only about 50% of the time. Freezing in winter.
This is my favorite training pool in Sydney. A ferry ride away from Hyde Park in a beautiful setting. I swam on a Saturday morning in the outdoor long course pool and there were about four swimmers in each lane. I was asked to remove my hand paddles which was annoying. It's a great pool though.
