Facility Reviews
I like to swim at Crystal Leisure Centre because of the friendly atmosphere. The 25m pool is open early morning 7:45 - 9:00 A.M and at limited other times due to schools and swim lessons. Some availability at lunch times for general swimming -best to ring the pool to confirm.
The 25m pool is shallow and often very warm. The changing rooms could use a good scrub to get rid of a lot of mould. However, the water is clean, the people are friendly, and it’s generally quiet on a Sunday afternoon.
Despite many complaints the female showers up and downstairs are always freezing.

I visited this fun pool on a Sunday with my partner and nine year-old son. I left a highly anxious & petrified parent!! There is so much noise you don't know what's happening and the life guards seem more occupied talking to one another. The rapids are dangerous, my son got sucked in and, as he clung to the wall desperate for help, a lifeguard blew his whistle at him twice shouting get off the wall, whilst I raced to get to him! I saw another parent rescue a child that had been dragged in. It was way overcrowded. The changing rooms were awful, the whole place seemed grubby. I won't be visiting again.

Our experience was similar to the previous reviewer's. Also, the changing rooms are filthy and parking is almost impossible. Not good.
