Facility Notes
The facility is in the middle of a major construction process, which includes the addition of the new, 10-lane pool described above, which is now open. With the opening of the new pool, the facility's old, 25m, 5-lane pool has been closed and is being renovated; it is expected that it will reopen in time for the winter 2024/2025 season. When that pool reopens, there will also be two diving boards available. [January, 2024]
Facility Reviews
Great place. Not too many people doing aquafit all the time. The pool and facilities are always clean, the staff is very kind, the water is just the right temperature to swim several kilometers. I recommend it - the sauna as well! Great place to be.
This is a great neigbourhood pool. For swimming laps, I prefer this pool over Schwaketenbad on the German side. The facilities are showing their age and seem to be awaiting renovation but are well-maintained and spotlessly clean. Lanes are separated and assigned speeds from gemütlich (leisurely) to schnell (fast). The water is treated with ozone.

Update to my review from January 2023: The old part of the building is now closed for renovation, but they’ve opened a brand-new section and it’s even better than the old pool. The changing rooms and showers feel more like a spa than a municipal swimming pool and I had a lane to myself on my morning visits (check the schedule on their website). Easily the best choice for indoor lap swimming in the area.
