Important Notice Please Read - CLICK HERE

Swimmers Guide is not connected with any of the more than 20,000+ facilities listed on this site in any way. We cannot tell you the pools’ opening and closing times; we cannot tell you about the availability and cost of swimming lessons; we cannot help you find your children’s lost goggles or bathing suits.

We can and do try to give you reliable information about the pools, their locations, their access policies, and their single-visit or casual swimming prices. Where possible, we include email addresses and hypertext links to the pools’ own official websites, and links to the websites of the clubs and teams that swim there. Look to those resources within each listing for more detailed information.

The data in each listing is under continual review and is revised whenever the site’s editors become aware of a change but, with more than 20,000 listings, a complete, periodic review of every listing takes about three years to complete; in many places, prices will change two or three times before we have a chance to check the pool’s official website again.

For that reason, we ask for your help: If any of the information in the listing is incorrect, out of date, or could be improved, please tell us. There is an "Edit" button on just about every line of every listing, click on the edit button to tell us what needs to be changed. Please consider checking the listings of the pools you regularly use at home or when traveling, as your knowledge may be helpful to someone else who is unfamiliar with your area and visiting for the first time.

To our English users: For reasons described in the FAQ, county names shown the listings in England are the cities' and towns' historic counties, not necessarily the counties they are assigned to now.

The health club facilities at the Grand Hilton Seoul used to be open to people who weren't staying at the hotel; this is apparently no longer the case. The club is open to registered guests and health club members only. [January, 2018]

Facility Reviews

This is a pleasant pool to swim in, very clean, comfortable temperature, natural light along one side of the building, and generally quite quiet. The gent's changing rooms are cleaned regularly and the showers are very good. The main drawback is that the Hotel / pool are very far from the CBD and even further from the Kangnam or Yoido districts where many people work.
The non-guest price is high, but it's a great pool.

The description of "three lanes" is oversimplified: the lanes are double or triple the usual width, so it's common for three to five swimmers to split a lane. The lanes are separated by lane dividers, but there are no lane markers or other guides to help when splitting lanes, so it can get a bit chaotic when busy. The center lane was marked for circle swimming (at least today) but that doesn't work with widely different swim strokes and speeds, so today everyone was splitting. The pool was a bit crowded from 10:30 to 11:15 AM, there were only a few people from 11:15 to 11:45 AM, and I was the only one from 11:45 to noon, when I left.
