Facility Reviews
This O2 Gym has a six-lane, indoor, 25-meter pool with all the "toys" you could want available - fins, kickboards and pull buoys. There is a Jacuzzi on the same floor as the pool (not too hot though); it has "hydro-massage", which is basically a jet of water on your shoulders and back - very nice after a swim.
The facility resembles a LifeTime Fitness location in the US. It's a four story building, with the fourth floor dedicated to an outside weight lifting area (put in during COVID). The third floor has all the machines (mostly Technogym) you could ask for. They also have a free weight area and class areas.
The second floor houses the pool and Jacuzzi. There is also a steam room up a staircase from the pool. The locker rooms (bring your own towel and lock) with showers and suit-spinner, are also on the second floor along with a sauna. This floor also has an individual training area. The first floor is the reception area.
I'm in Malaga for about two months and wanted to find a place to work out. Normally it's a three-month commitment (€65 initiation fee and then €59.90/month) but I emailed ahead of time, and they were able to accommodate me for €165 for the 49 days I was going to be here (€3.37/day), which is well worth it to get my workouts in.
