Piscina Comunale dell'Acquacalda

Important Notice Please Read - CLICK HERE

Swimmers Guide is not connected with any of the more than 20,000+ facilities listed on this site in any way. We cannot tell you the pools’ opening and closing times; we cannot tell you about the availability and cost of swimming lessons; we cannot help you find your children’s lost goggles or bathing suits.

We can and do try to give you reliable information about the pools, their locations, their access policies, and their single-visit or casual swimming prices. Where possible, we include email addresses and hypertext links to the pools’ own official websites, and links to the websites of the clubs and teams that swim there. Look to those resources within each listing for more detailed information.

The data in each listing is under continual review and is revised whenever the site’s editors become aware of a change but, with more than 20,000 listings, a complete, periodic review of every listing takes about three years to complete; in many places, prices will change two or three times before we have a chance to check the pool’s official website again.

For that reason, we ask for your help: If any of the information in the listing is incorrect, out of date, or could be improved, please tell us. There is an "Edit" button on just about every line of every listing, click on the edit button to tell us what needs to be changed. Please consider checking the listings of the pools you regularly use at home or when traveling, as your knowledge may be helpful to someone else who is unfamiliar with your area and visiting for the first time.

To our English users: For reasons described in the FAQ, county names shown the listings in England are the cities' and towns' historic counties, not necessarily the counties they are assigned to now.

Facility Notes

There is also a 25m, 6 lane, outdoor, seasonal pool at this location.
The admission price for this pool does not include showers. Showers must be purchased separately, with a minimum of two showers per visit. Shower access is sold through a punchable plastic token that you insert into a machine outside the showers and then select which shower you want to use. The token comes with rows of braille-like bumps that are chopped-off at each use.
If you usually take a small lock with you to pools, it will probably not work here, hence the comment in the first review about asking them for a lock. A regular size lock will probably work

Facility Reviews

Cap and shower shoes required. Ask for a lock when you pay. If they are out of keys, just take your valuables to the pool deck. There are not enough lockers, so this is standard.

The pool, locker room, and equipment could all use a good scrubbing. It's not up to the standards of cleanliness I have seen at other Italian pools. The system is complex and confusing, even for Italy.

As already noted, the shower system is really confusing, even for an Italian pool. The walkway to the pool and the parking lot are littered with the little aqua-green shower tokens, no longer of any use.
