Facility Notes
NOTE: Although the pool's official website shows summer admission prices for non-residents, the local swimmer who sent the November, 2018 review, below, has informed us that the pool is now no longer open to non-residents in summer. Given the apparent contradiction, we include both the official prices and this warning.
Summer tariffs apply from the fourth Monday of June to the first Monday of September; fall - spring tariffs apply during the rest of the year.
There is also a 15m, indoor, learners' pool at this location.
Facility Reviews
Amazing 50m outdoor pool; open year-round except when it's too cold out and they close it (around 0ºC.). Expensive, but clean and usually not crowded. Opens late and closes early, with annoying closures during the day (making it difficult to have a real workout). The water is usually warm for competitive swimming. Wed. afternoons are best. It's the best swimming facility in Paris region - even if not managed with competitive swimming in mind. Parking is a problem; limited public transport available.
Exceptional facilities. The facility is closed on Mondays. Tuesday lunchtimes (noon to 2 PM) are packed year-round. The local swim club takes two lanes every evening, but it's still OK. In summer, the pool is often at full capacity and the water filthy after mid-day. Members are given priority for admission, when crowded.

I swim in this pool four to five times a week, like a handful of other "addicts". It's possibly the best open air pool in France, alongside Aix les Bains.
A victim of its own success, however, the pool is now open only to Puteaux residents in the summer months. Nearby pools, e.g. Neuilly sur Seine, are now following suit with the same policy.
