Important Notice Please Read - CLICK HERE

Swimmers Guide is not connected with any of the more than 20,000+ facilities listed on this site in any way. We cannot tell you the pools’ opening and closing times; we cannot tell you about the availability and cost of swimming lessons; we cannot help you find your children’s lost goggles or bathing suits.

We can and do try to give you reliable information about the pools, their locations, their access policies, and their single-visit or casual swimming prices. Where possible, we include email addresses and hypertext links to the pools’ own official websites, and links to the websites of the clubs and teams that swim there. Look to those resources within each listing for more detailed information.

The data in each listing is under continual review and is revised whenever the site’s editors become aware of a change but, with more than 20,000 listings, a complete, periodic review of every listing takes about three years to complete; in many places, prices will change two or three times before we have a chance to check the pool’s official website again.

For that reason, we ask for your help: If any of the information in the listing is incorrect, out of date, or could be improved, please tell us. There is an "Edit" button on just about every line of every listing, click on the edit button to tell us what needs to be changed. Please consider checking the listings of the pools you regularly use at home or when traveling, as your knowledge may be helpful to someone else who is unfamiliar with your area and visiting for the first time.

To our English users: For reasons described in the FAQ, county names shown the listings in England are the cities' and towns' historic counties, not necessarily the counties they are assigned to now.

Facility Notes

The pool is free flowing and naturally spring fed. There is also a Furnace Creek Inn Resort, about a mile down the road, which has a 25 yard, outdoor, spring fed, 80° pool operated mid-Oct. to mid-May.

Facility Reviews

Approximately 20 meters long. Potentially very good pool for laps. Open from 8 AM to 10 PM. Warm, spring fed. Get there at 8 before it starts to fill, it should give you 45 to 60 minutes with fewer human obstacles.

I swam here during a recent three day stay - it was great. While a lot of people visit the pool area, there's a more sun-lounger activity than swimming! Peak time at the pool is mid-afternoon, after people check in or when they return from day's activities, so going in the morning there was no problem with lapping.

If anything, the pool may be a little TOO warm for comfortable sustained lapping - you could get a bit hot and light-headed!

Go early and you can swim laps with nobody in the pool. Great warm spring temperature, beautiful flow-through water pool.
