Facility Notes
The pool opened in September, 2007. The facility also has a leisure pool with water slide and water mushrooms, a large heated spa, a small "lazy river", a therapeutic spa (not a hot tub), and weight machines.
Facility Reviews
A beautiful facility. It's usually set up for short-course yards, but occasionally for SCM. The price is very reasonable. For kids, there's a wonderful lazy river and water slide in same building, so you can have your workout and have the kids in the recreational pool. Best to call ahead in case a swim meet is scheduled (several local schools use it.) I've rearranged my travel planning when going through Central VA to stay at one of several nearby hotels and use the WARF for my daily swim.
