Facility Reviews
Brand new as of Spring 2008; water quality good; water temp cool; not busy in the mornings; great hours.
The pool is really nice, the staff are friendly, and the locker rooms were clean. There were a bunch of families in the separate splash pool, but I had the entire lap pool to myself on a Saturday in the early afternoon. One end of the pool was noticeably warmer than the other end, but not annoyingly so.
This is a super convenient pool for long layovers at DTW -- I made it from my arrival gate to the pool, swam for an hour, and was back at my departure gate in less than two hours. It was a bit pricey (I spent ~$40 between the $12 pool admission and the Ubers to the airport and back), but completely worth it to prepare for a transpacific flight.
