Facility Reviews
This is a private fitness club with a 25m, stainless steel pool usually set up with four lanes, (one of them officially designed the "fast lane”) plus an open area about two lanes wide for slower swimmers. The customers expect to use a lane with just two people, swimming side by side, but signs on the wall ask members to share the lanes by swimming in circles, when more swimmers arrive.
The club attracts an "in-crowd", as it is located in a district (Neukölln) that has become gentrified; it doesn’t attract many retirees, who may have different expectations of swimming. There is a common sauna, which is practically used only by men and two for women, one of them has showers.
During the daytime it is not too crowded, but in rush hour can there be problems with lane sharing, as "fast" is open to interpretation and the lanes are not otherwise speed-designated.
There are aqua gymnastic classes early evenings four weekdays per week and swim training on two evenings (the training has a limited number of places).
The club now offers a monthly membership after three months and a free trial session, which you can book over the internet.
