Facility Notes

Facility Reviews
Overall, excellent water quality. The outdoor pool has stainless steel walls and is illuminated at night. No lane markers were present during my visit in either pool.
I swam in all three pools and all were of excellent quality. The heated outdoor pool was very busy. Changing facilities, showers, hairdryers all very good. Superb value for money.
One of my favorite pools in Hamburg; I like the all-year outdoor pool and slightly lower admission prices. There is a lap-swimming lane outside.
I came here to do a workout prior to the Triathlon World Championship. The 50m pool has 8 lanes, but only the middle two were designated for lap swimming. There was no lane marker line between the two lanes designated for lap swimming and very little organization to the swimming. After the first flip turn, I found myself facing four people who were swimming four-abreast toward me. Most people stopped after every length which made the lane ends quite crowded. I was there on a Sunday and found the pool packed with thousands of people on the hills sunbathing. Not the best situation for lap swimming, but at least it was water!
