Important Notice Please Read - CLICK HERE

Swimmers Guide is not connected with any of the more than 20,000+ facilities listed on this site in any way. We cannot tell you the pools’ opening and closing times; we cannot tell you about the availability and cost of swimming lessons; we cannot help you find your children’s lost goggles or bathing suits.

We can and do try to give you reliable information about the pools, their locations, their access policies, and their single-visit or casual swimming prices. Where possible, we include email addresses and hypertext links to the pools’ own official websites, and links to the websites of the clubs and teams that swim there. Look to those resources within each listing for more detailed information.

The data in each listing is under continual review and is revised whenever the site’s editors become aware of a change but, with more than 20,000 listings, a complete, periodic review of every listing takes about three years to complete; in many places, prices will change two or three times before we have a chance to check the pool’s official website again.

For that reason, we ask for your help: If any of the information in the listing is incorrect, out of date, or could be improved, please tell us. There is an "Edit" button on just about every line of every listing, click on the edit button to tell us what needs to be changed. Please consider checking the listings of the pools you regularly use at home or when traveling, as your knowledge may be helpful to someone else who is unfamiliar with your area and visiting for the first time.

To our English users: For reasons described in the FAQ, county names shown the listings in England are the cities' and towns' historic counties, not necessarily the counties they are assigned to now.

Facility Notes

The pool re-opened in 2002, after a 22 month closure for renovations - while closed, it hosted the 2OO1 EU Indoor Championships.
A €4.2 million renovation was completed in late 2018.
The eight lane pool is reserved for swim clubs and training. The six lane pool is primarily for public use although some time is allocated for swim clubs. The 20 meter pool is used primarily for instruction during school hours (9 AM - 3 PM) and is open to the public before and after school on weekdays; on weekends, it closes at 1 PM. [September, 2016]

Facility Reviews

It is very nice. Hi-tech looks, nice water.
This is a very good pool and my favorite. I go with a few friends four times a week from 12:30 to 1:15 PM. The pool is reserved for lap swimming (one or two lanes are sometimes set aside for a school or a club.) Swimmers here are a disciplined group, so it's a real pleasure. At lunchtime, Mondays are the most crowded, Wednesdays are a dream.
I concur, this is a beautiful facility. Very inexpensive. Co-ed locker rooms and showers.
A great pool and facility. People know what they are doing and separate well by speed. Note that they close on weekends at 12:40 PM. Easy parking down the street by a hotel.
