Important Notice Please Read - CLICK HERE

Swimmers Guide is not connected with any of the more than 20,000+ facilities listed on this site in any way. We cannot tell you the pools’ opening and closing times; we cannot tell you about the availability and cost of swimming lessons; we cannot help you find your children’s lost goggles or bathing suits.

We can and do try to give you reliable information about the pools, their locations, their access policies, and their single-visit or casual swimming prices. Where possible, we include email addresses and hypertext links to the pools’ own official websites, and links to the websites of the clubs and teams that swim there. Look to those resources within each listing for more detailed information.

The data in each listing is under continual review and is revised whenever the site’s editors become aware of a change but, with more than 20,000 listings, a complete, periodic review of every listing takes about three years to complete; in many places, prices will change two or three times before we have a chance to check the pool’s official website again.

For that reason, we ask for your help: If any of the information in the listing is incorrect, out of date, or could be improved, please tell us. There is an "Edit" button on just about every line of every listing, click on the edit button to tell us what needs to be changed. Please consider checking the listings of the pools you regularly use at home or when traveling, as your knowledge may be helpful to someone else who is unfamiliar with your area and visiting for the first time.

To our English users: For reasons described in the FAQ, county names shown the listings in England are the cities' and towns' historic counties, not necessarily the counties they are assigned to now.

Facility Notes

A €1.00 refundable locker deposit is required. Hold on to your entry ticket, you'll need it to get out when you're finished swimming!

Facility Reviews

Old (1930) and divine - full on 50m. One lane divider. Three sides of three stories tall paned glass. Stunned by how nice the Germans were to this non-German speaking fool. I would RUN back again in a minute.
The pool is not too good for lane swimming, the last 10m of one side of the pool are barely 30 cm deep. Check the schedule for lane swim times, it changes often. Lanes are not speed segregated; you may find yourself slaloming most of the time. Very clean, as most German swimming pools.
A glorious place to swim on an unassuming street in the Mitte. Watch for the riptide approximately 15m in from the shallow end (a red line marks the danger area)... Take €0.05 coins for the electric driers.

This is definitely the friendliest pool I ever came across. Smiley at the cash register .. and when I realized I had no towel, they lent me one. Just like that :)
