Piscine Olympique d'Antigone

Important Notice Please Read - CLICK HERE

Swimmers Guide is not connected with any of the more than 20,000+ facilities listed on this site in any way. We cannot tell you the pools’ opening and closing times; we cannot tell you about the availability and cost of swimming lessons; we cannot help you find your children’s lost goggles or bathing suits.

We can and do try to give you reliable information about the pools, their locations, their access policies, and their single-visit or casual swimming prices. Where possible, we include email addresses and hypertext links to the pools’ own official websites, and links to the websites of the clubs and teams that swim there. Look to those resources within each listing for more detailed information.

The data in each listing is under continual review and is revised whenever the site’s editors become aware of a change but, with more than 20,000 listings, a complete, periodic review of every listing takes about three years to complete; in many places, prices will change two or three times before we have a chance to check the pool’s official website again.

For that reason, we ask for your help: If any of the information in the listing is incorrect, out of date, or could be improved, please tell us. There is an "Edit" button on just about every line of every listing, click on the edit button to tell us what needs to be changed. Please consider checking the listings of the pools you regularly use at home or when traveling, as your knowledge may be helpful to someone else who is unfamiliar with your area and visiting for the first time.

To our English users: For reasons described in the FAQ, county names shown the listings in England are the cities' and towns' historic counties, not necessarily the counties they are assigned to now.

Facility Notes

Swim caps are required. The pool is heavily used by clubs, for recreational swimming, and for laps. A lane schedule is posted in the lobby. The (usually two to four) lanes allocated for laps are not speed segregated and may be crowded during prime swimming times. Temperatures (air and water) are good for a workout. Men’s and women’s shower areas are side-by-side at the entry to the pool. Bring your own soap, shampoo, towel. There is a small pace clock that may be difficult for some to read.

Facility Reviews

The pool doesn't open until 9 AM and is always set to 50m.

There was no discipline in the four lap lanes open - people took the lane with the fewest swimmers. But even with five in a 50m lane, passing wasn't a problem.
This is a competition pool in abeautiful futuristic glass building. Hours during the week are 9 AM to 9:30 PM, shorter on the weekends.
This beautiful, state-of-the-art, partly open-air swimming complex is worth the trip to Montpellier alone. It's about as perfect as a pool gets.
