Swimmers Guide is not connected with any of the more than 20,000+ facilities listed on this site in any way. We cannot tell you the pools’ opening and closing times; we cannot tell you about the availability and cost of swimming lessons; we cannot help you find your children’s lost goggles or bathing suits.

We can and do try to give you reliable information about the pools, their locations, their access policies, and their single-visit or casual swimming prices. Where possible, we include email addresses and hypertext links to the pools’ own official websites, and links to the websites of the clubs and teams that swim there. Look to those resources within each listing for more detailed information.

The data in each listing is under continual review and is revised whenever the site’s editors become aware of a change but, with more than 20,000 listings, a complete, periodic review of every listing takes about three years to complete; in many places, prices will change two or three times before we have a chance to check the pool’s official website again.

For that reason, we ask for your help: If any of the information in the listing is incorrect, out of date, or could be improved, please tell us. There is an "Edit" button on just about every line of every listing, click on the edit button to tell us what needs to be changed. Please consider checking the listings of the pools you regularly use at home or when traveling, as your knowledge may be helpful to someone else who is unfamiliar with your area and visiting for the first time.

To our English users: For reasons described in the FAQ, county names shown the listings in England are the cities' and towns' historic counties, not necessarily the counties they are assigned to now.

Facility Notes

Until 2008, the facility had hours for the public; the Great Recession of 2007 put the kaibosh on that!
The facility has an unofficial Facebook page.

Facility Reviews

Loos was completely renovated in the summer of 2010; the locker rooms are nicer, with new showers and toilet facilities. And new air and water circulation systems have improved air and water quality 100%! New paint everywhere, it simply looks like a different pool. The diving area is one of the few parts that have not been changed unfortunately, otherwise it is truly amazing.
The recession is over and, as a Dallas County homeowner and taxpayer, I think it would be nice if we could get back the Adult Swim that we had in 2008 and before. I used to use the pool quite a bit and I paid to use it every time I went, so I don't understand why the pool is still unavailable to the community.
