Facility Reviews
The pool is quite small, and a bit on the warm side for serious swimmers. The pool is busy and there is no distinction between fast, medium, and slow lanes. The earlier you get there, the better chance you have of the pool being quiet. Be sure you check the website as opening hours change during the year, depending on the school term, plus they close for lunch!!
It runs the typical French system: No board shorts, swim cap required, and no street shoes are allowed in the change rooms and beyond (so bring shower shoes if you do not want to go bare foot). The change rooms are separated by gender, but the lockers, toilets, and showers are communal and unisex. You do not need a lock or coin for the lockers, they work with the card you get at entry. This part of the facility is a little tired and could do with a massive refurb, but it is clean enough.
The only mirrors are at the toilets, so there is nowhere to do hair and makeup after you have changed back into street clothes.
