Swimmers Guide is not connected with any of the more than 20,000+ facilities listed on this site in any way. We cannot tell you the pools’ opening and closing times; we cannot tell you about the availability and cost of swimming lessons; we cannot help you find your children’s lost goggles or bathing suits.

We can and do try to give you reliable information about the pools, their locations, their access policies, and their single-visit or casual swimming prices. Where possible, we include email addresses and hypertext links to the pools’ own official websites, and links to the websites of the clubs and teams that swim there. Look to those resources within each listing for more detailed information.

The data in each listing is under continual review and is revised whenever the site’s editors become aware of a change but, with more than 20,000 listings, a complete, periodic review of every listing takes about three years to complete; in many places, prices will change two or three times before we have a chance to check the pool’s official website again.

For that reason, we ask for your help: If any of the information in the listing is incorrect, out of date, or could be improved, please tell us. There is an "Edit" button on just about every line of every listing, click on the edit button to tell us what needs to be changed. Please consider checking the listings of the pools you regularly use at home or when traveling, as your knowledge may be helpful to someone else who is unfamiliar with your area and visiting for the first time.

To our English users: For reasons described in the FAQ, county names shown the listings in England are the cities' and towns' historic counties, not necessarily the counties they are assigned to now.

Facility Reviews

A superb work-out location, lots of people, but lots of lanes. (The pool was set-up for short-course swimming at the time.)
Dark, crowded with lots of slow swimmers, not too pleasant.
Very frustrating place to swim; no overtaking in the lanes is allowed and there are no fast, medium or slow allocated lanes. Most Koreans only swim 25 of the 50 meters then stop and stand up in the middle of the pool. Great pool, but horrible for a serious swimmer to do laps.
A very clean pool that is crowded but still allows you swim as much as you want - if you can dodge the walkers.

All three pools were available and busy when we arrived at 11:45 AM on a Saturday. Short course (25 meter) lanes were available only in the diving well. Lanes were sort of sorted by speed. I swam in “fast”, which worked for a 65 year-old Masters swimmer, but there was much stopping at ends. Equipment and passing were allowed. Otherwise, the usual East Asian customs applied. Purchase tickets at the Information office and give it to the attendant to acquire a locker key.
