Facility Reviews
Built in 1939 and showing its age, the centre is tatty, looks grubby and is often crowded. But there is a separate, shallow pool for recreation, and lanes and opening hours are sensibly managed. There are too few showers (that don't work well) and thechange area is always too warm. But there is hope for a replacement as part of a proposed upscale redevelopment scheme to be designed by architect Frank Gehry (think Guggenheim, Bilbao.)
