Facility Reviews
The best pool in Central Dublin.
I recently joined this gym and found it to be a little bit unhygienic, especially the floors in the locker room which are filthy!

Swim lane speeds (casual, slow, fast) are not well enforced here. People often go into a lane based on number of people in it as opposed to which category they fit into, and staff don't do much about it.
It was very crowded when I went at 7:30, but well behaved. Lockers are available; swim caps are required.

The pool was divided into six lanes: two fast, two medium, one for lessons, and one slow/misc. People were pretty good about using the correct lanes when I was there. There were three or four swimmers per lane in the early afternoon and it got down to one or two by the time I finished. There are good lane markers, backstroke flags, and some training devices like kickboards and pull-buoys. A bathing cap is required. This is a clean pool with a dirty, wet change room.
The change rooms are a combination of types with males and females at opposite ends and a “village” area with change booths in middle. There are segregated showers at the ends and open, shared showers in middle. Bring your own padlock. The floors in the male end were very wet and it was almost impossible not to get wet socks unless you are willing to put a towel or t-shirt on the floor.
The facility has a steam room and sauna, although the latter was temporarily out of order. Friendly staff.
This pool is cheaper than Trinity College Sports Centre pool a couple of blocks away but the TC change rooms nicer and cleaner with about the same pool traffic.
