Facility Reviews
I like to swim at Hallenbad Querenburg because it actually is possible to SWIM there. The pool at Querenburg is a pure sporting facility; you won't find any "fun activity" equipment such as chutes or floating devices. The only disadvantage is that the pool is heavily used by swim clubs that usually use approximately 1/3 of the pool space. In the morning hours slower swimmers swim here, but most of the time it won't be too crowded and they're not an obstacle for the faster swimmers ;-).
I visited this facility a few times around noon (+/- 2 hours) on different days of the week. Every time there was only one lane set-up, in the middle of the pool. The other parts of this pool were used by kids on the shallow side and sometimes on the deep side. However, there weren't too many people swimming. The lane rope for this one lane is not an anti-wave one so you do get some waves while swimming. Swimming caps are not required in the pool.
