Facility Reviews
Unless you tie a diving flag to your butt and swim around the motorboats that are permitted in the spring area, this isn't a good place to go for a workout. The swim area is not suitable for lap swimming due to its dinky size and bottom conditions. When I was there (Aug. 14th, 2003) park rangers insisted I buy a diver's flag to swim to the spring boil (maybe 20 yards from the swim are). The flags were $5 each.
