Facility Reviews
Elisabeth-Halle is a beautiful turn-of-the-century recreational pool in the city center. Too small for competitive swimmers, but fine if you want to stretch your muscles and swim a few leisurely laps during the day. It can be noisy if school children are using the second pool.
Elisabeth-Halle is located right in the city center, not far from the Cathedral. It's a beautiful turn of the 20th century pool that's not great for laps, but the atmosphere is worth it.
There are no standard lockers at the pool, but you can leave your valuables in a small locker at the entrance. For changing and clothing storage, you select an open, private cabin that locks to the entrance hall but has only a curtain to the pool area. The cabin is yours for the duration of the swim. In theory someone could rifle your stuff in the cabin, coming in from the open pool side, if they wanted. I had no issues.
