Facility Reviews
Excellent and unique facilities, though the entrance area is drab. Once you've paid the entrance fee (staff speak no English), negotiated the turnstile, paid the (refundable) locker fee, and found the corridor to the outdoor pool, all is worthwhile. It's -13ºC outside, now, but the water is a comfortable 27ºC, clear, uncrowded, and no chlorine. Hungarians are keen swimmers - the best time for a 'quiet' swim is between 6 and 10 AM, when you should have a lane almost to yourself.
Buy your ticket at the ticket window. Take your ticket to the men's (left side) or ladies' (right side) locker room turnstile, scan your ticket and pass through the turnstile where you will be offered a lock for the locker room for a refundable 1,000 Ft. Return the lock when you're done as you head back out through the turnstile. No one speaks any English, and NONE of the signage has any English translations.

The changing rooms have undergone a major renovation; now, when you purchase your entrance you get a bracelet for entrance and the lockers, a regular modern feature. The showers are new, too.
Swimming is still fine in the outdoor pool; it's not busy, even on a sunny afternoon.

I agree that the swimming here is great, and at a time of year when many outdoor pools are closed.
Entrance and locker update: The reception desk in front of you when you enter does not do pool tickets. Instead, there is a window in the wall on the left. You will receive an electronic bracelet. Use it to enter via the turnstile to the right of that reception desk. You will then enter a common gender locker room with dressing cabins. There are separate showers and WCs for men and women. The electronic bracelet can be used with any locker (each registers which bracelet locked it so others cannot open it). Return the bracelet in the slot provided to unlock the turnstile when you leave. And, yes, the staff speak next to no English
