Masters workouts are held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 8:35 P.M. (in the water) and Saturdays at 8:10 P.M. and last approximately one hour.

This is the only such pool I know of in central Rome - but bring your Italian phrase book!
It's a decent deep and cool temperature pool… not a very nice locker room but adequate. Frequented by better swimmers in the area.
It's a nice pool in old building and part of large sports club. Very humid and chlorinated air.

I swam here on a quiet Sunday morning and got a lane to myself! Entry was €18.00! But this gives you access to all areas including the gym. There are no backstroke flags.

I swam here beginning just before noon on a Wednesday in September. I had a lane to myself to begin with, but then had to double-up as lunchtime swimmers appeared. The lifeguard was very nice and spoke English well, but reception did not (although nice, as well). The water and air temperatures were just right for serious swimming. Cost was €12.

This is a good pool for serious swimming. It's basic but clean and well maintained. Bring your own towel and soap; check valuables at front desk.
Check the hours in advance, as the pool is not open continuously throughout the day.

This is a decent pool. The lanes were organized but not really managed by the lifeguards - I wouldn't want to swim laps here when it is busy, as lanes are not that wide and lane sharing/swimming speed etiquette is not that good. The water temperature was OK but there's a LOT of chlorine and it's very expensive - you can use the gym for the same €18 entry fee.

I went here on a Saturday morning in February and swam from 8:15 to 09:30; most of the time I had a lane to myself. It's a very nice pool, at a perfect temperature and with crystal clear water. The lane etiquette is good though lanes are not speed-designated, which I liked. The staff were all very friendly but English is limited.
On your first visit, you have to fill out a form at reception and the entry was €18 - I couldn't work out if this gives you a reduced fee for later visits.
You can leave valuables in a locker at the reception. Lockers in the changing room require your own padlock.
This pool is in walking distance from the Rome Termini station or you can get a metro from there so a it's a good one to visit if you have a layover at Rome Airport.

This is a good lap pool but check the on-line schedule carefully for nuoto libero (free swim) times, since lap lanes are available only during those hours. I found good availability (I shared lane with one other swimmer) mid-day on a Wednesday. A bathing cap is required and bring your own towel and lock.
It’s a nice pool with a large locker room and showers, basically Rome's equivalent of a YMCA. There's not a lot of English spoken, but they are friendly and the form they give you is pretty straightforward. They take credit cards for payment. Good find!
