Facility Reviews
This is a private club with aerobic classes, gym machines, sauna, and also a pool. It self-identifies as a spa, not a sport swimming facility. The majority of customers is elderly; they have a special member fee for them with entry until 2 PM, but most seem to spend the day there.
The pool is usually set up with three lanes and an open area of about 5x25m. The lanes are not speed-selected. The clientele refuses any lap swimming etiquette and prefer to swim side by side on a lane. There is no life guard on duty for disputes or safety. The pool has frequent and popular water aerobic classes at lunch times and in the evenings from 6 PM onwards, often three in a row.
The best time for swimming is around 3 or 4 PM and late in the evenings, otherwise it can get very unpleasant.
A two year membership is €99.90/month, a monthly one €139 and a single entry €35.
