Facility Reviews
This beautiful 50m pool is SO underutilized; I've never seen more than eight people swimming laps at the same time! The restrooms and locker rooms are funky, but the dressing area is open to the sky, so the sun keeps the place disease free (seagulls notwithstanding).
The temperature was raised from 81º to 84º to support the swimming lessons program. Lap swimming is not possible here now due to the high temperature.

Whatever its temperature, the water's never been so uncomfortable that laps can't be swum, even for folks like me who like our water on the cool side.

The pool is located in a park next to a golf course - very lush and quiet in a busy urban center.
When I swam there, it was configured for 50-meter lengths and there were a number of swimmers, but we each had our own lane. It was a wonderful swim.
While the facility is showing its age, it seems very well cared for by staff and loved by the local community of swimmers. I thought the locker rooms were cool, like carefully preserved locker room from an earlier era!
