Facility Reviews
I liked this pool. It has four lanes, not roped off, no backstroke flags, a free basket-style check room, a retractable roof that moved while I was swimming, low prices, clean water (9.5/10), and a genuinely helpful staff.
Swim caps are required. When mine split, they lent me one, even though there was a vending machine with caps for sale in the lobby. (And I bought one there, as I was leaving.)
My friend was annoyed by the lack of ropes, but I just swam, and when contact occurred, instead of acting upset, I said, "Cuckoo!", which is what a French person says when he wants to get your attention in a friendly way. I paused to let a man whose toddler daughter was riding him pass, "Passez, si vous voulez." and thereafter he policed the children when I was in the shallow end of the pool making my turns.
