Facility Notes
The Volksbad St. Gallen was built in 1906 and is the oldest surviving indoor pool in Switzerland.
At one end, the pool has staircase entries on two sides and a semicircular pediment for some statues extending into the pool at the center. The other end has "clipped corners" and a semicircular extension, more-or-less paralleling the pediment at the other end. The two striped lines on the bottom are midway between the staircase entries and the pediment.
