Facility Notes
Warm water days are Tuesdays.
The adjacent Freibad Rosental has a 50m, 8 lane pool and a leisure pool with a 25m, 5 lane section. The indoor pool is closed when the outdoor pool is open (usually from early May through the end of August).
The outdoor pool has larger lockers but you need to bring your own padlock. Padlocks are available for purchase, but there are no "loaners".

Facility Reviews
There were no lane lines when I was there and there is an overhead rope to divide the non-swimmer area from the swimmer's area. The rope is probably only 18 inches (0.5m) above the water, but care must be taken not to catch an arm on it during stroke recovery.
The pool is a ten or fifteen minute walk from the Vaihingen train station. Exit the station onto Vollmeollerstraße and follow it due west, until you get to the Rosental Park.
